The national curriculum for maths today includes a lot of mental maths - the ability to mentally manipulate numbers and do sums in your head. It is something us adults aren’t very good at and nowadays we head to our smart phone calculator to work out even easy sums!!

So The Maths Mum would like to challenge you to “SEE2DO2”... see two numbers and use them to do two different sums. You use the four operations - add, subtract, multiple or divide. I’ll be sharing examples as I see them. And I would ask you to do the same and tag your photos using the hashtag #SEE2DO2
