The Maths Mum® 'Maths for Life' - Lesson 10 with Lance & Puppet

All worksheets used are available FREE on the “Maths For Life” Premium Annual Membership.

Here is an outline of the maths that was being worked on / assessed:

1.  Number Sequencing - ordering Numicon tiles 1-10; talking about one more and one less; creating the number line.

2.  Data / Sorting by Category & Counting - using basic 2D shapes to sort and count by category; identifying by shape and word the basic 2D shapes of circle, square and triangle; counting and recording the data on a table.

3. Counting 'How Many?' - Counting numbers of items to 20; accurately counting and recording the answer; some lovely independent work - working towards being able to complete these simple worksheets completely on his own.

4.  Calendar - Monthly Calendar; Reading days of the week;  Identifying dates; Finding & Readiing information from the calendar.

What I love about this video is Lance's interaction with the camera when I am off helping Cal!
